ALL THINGS FALL: Recipes, Sustainable Goods, & More!

If you're anything like me, your heart skips a beat when you begin to think about Fall and everything that comes along with it. My mom and I waste no time busting out the holiday candles, filling the house with the aroma of sugary, spicy goodness. People love the holidays, so I understand the rush. But there is one thing I have never been able to wrap my mind around: the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for anything pumpkin flavored, scented, even printed, but when I think about ordering a PSL from Starbucks and adding it to my list of fall favorites, it makes me sick. To be fair, I actually know what originally went into making a PSL thanks to an investigation conducted by Food Babe, Vani Hari, in 2015. A year after she outed them for their harmful ingredients, Starbucks reformulated their recipe. Unfortunately, even after reformulation, there are still harmful components. So we decided it's time to make our own! Thanks to Mama Natural, you no longer have to question what's in your beloved PSL. We've included her recipe so you can make your own (& just for fun, here is a pumpkin muffin recipe, too!)

As you all know, half of our mission is to provide hope for people in need. So we decided to highlight three of our favorite give-back businesses, in no particular order, and how purchasing your fall essentials from these companies helps provide hope for families this holiday season!

High Point Supply Co. is a hometown favorite that sells ethically made goods that give back. Through their products, they provide economic empowerment & fight trafficking while employing over 80 artisans in 16 different countries!

For our fall favorites, we've chosen a beautifully designed inspirational mug from their mug collection that provides clean water through water wells for those in need. We have also chosen the Feya candle, which will be offered in four new scents: Cranberry Apple Marmalade, Harvest & Cedar, Campfire, and Pumpkin Spice! Each candle provides a meal around the world to someone in need through the Feya Hunger Program (plus they boast no GMOs or artificial additives!)

Mitscoots Outfitters

Mitscoots is a clothing & accessories company on a mission to outfit & employ individuals transitioning out of homelessness modeled through their motto "GET + GIVE + EMPLOY". All products are 100% American made and packaged in Austin, Tx. They offer all of your favorite fall essentials & there is something for the WHOLE FAMILY!

Our first choice is their newly launched backpack! Perfect for camping, for sending the kids pack to school, or even to be used as a stylish diaper bag for mommas. When one bag is purchased, one is donated to someone in need. We also chose a mitscoots original: SOCKS! They have wonderfully created designs for the whole family to choose from and when one pair is purchased, another is given to someone in need.

Krochet Kids:

Based out of California, Krochet Kids empowers people to rise above poverty. Every product they make is hand-signed by the Peruvian artisan who made it so you can remember the life you are providing hope for wherever you may go!

Perfect for boys or girls, babies to big kids, men and women, they've got it all! Their uniquely handcrafted designed scarves and beanies are some of our must-haves for the fall!

Get ready because we will officially be rolling out our seasonal line of spritzers in just a couple of weeks and we couldn't be more excited! We are working on a few minor changes to our formulas, but soon you will be able to douse your house in Sugar & Spice, Wintermint, and Wooded Wonderland. Be on the lookout for our launch date!
